4th Spell - [Video, Spam]

[In her room, Luna has stacked up all her furniture in the middle of the room in order to reach the ceiling. She lies on her back on a desk that's tilted precariously on a chair, a globe, three books, and a coat rack. Somehow it all manages to stay upright.

Paint drips into her hair as she paints her ceiling. Faces of people on the Barge are recognizable - people she's met and interacted with, Iris, Bush, Steve, Facilier, MewTwo, and others.

She's not a bad artist, really. It's a lot more fun than the art room, where they expect you not to paint on the walls]

[Luna goes back to painting, finishing up the last bits before beginning to climb down. The scaffolding sways but stays in place, probably due to magic]

Thanks. It's of the people I've met on the Barge so far. When I meet new people, I'll add them in as well.

[Steve eyes it, and just does his best to keep it steady anyway, you know, non-magically.]

That's not a bad idea. And, I mean, a ceiling's a nice big canvas. I never thought about painting mine. How long have you been at it?

A few hours now, but I painted other things earlier. Perhaps you'd like to borrow the paints when I'm finished?

Sounds about right. [He's at least familiar with the time it takes to get something of this magnitude done, and,] So I'll bet you're ready for a break.

Oh - yeah. Sure, I could definitely use some more practice with color. If you've got any left - it's a big ceiling, [he teases.]

Yes, but I don't expect I'll paint it all at once. I've got to be leaving room for more people I haven't met yet.

I think those are the best kinds of masterpieces - the kinds that aren't done yet.

Besides - there's practically always someone new here to meet. It's a good thing you've got a lot of space.

I think so too. And if I run out of room, I can always ask the Admiral to give me more walls.

That's true - or you could start a mural in one of the common rooms, you think people would go for that?

It's difficult to say. I don't want to monopolize the rooms. What if other people wanted to paint?

I get your point, but there is plenty of public space around here. [And eight common rooms.] Some of it could use some sprucing up. You might be just the person to do it.

That could be. I'll have to see who else is an artist here.

You know, I think there's quite a few. But that still doesn't mean you're not the right girl for the job.

Maybe my inmate would like to give it a try. Once I'm paired.

I think that'd be a good idea. I mean, we've got the art therapy room for a reason, right?

We do? What reason is that?

To let them try it. I've heard art can help people - sometimes it's a good way to get out frustration, right?

I suppose so. I mostly use it to express all feelings. Not just frustration.

Which is probably part of the reason you're not an inmate.

Yes.

Also because I don't like hurting people.

Also, that. That definitely helps, I think.

[He glances up at her ceiling - and then over at the stack of things again.] You sure you don't want a real ladder, for when you get back up there?

No, thank you. I'll manage.

It was nice of you to come and check up on me, Captain. Perhaps we'll go for some tea later on?

All right - be careful, then.

Oh - yeah, yeah, that would be nice. Anytime. You know, I've been to London, but we didn't have a lot of time for tea.

You've plenty of time for it now, I think. Perhaps one day you'll go back.

More than I used to. Some days. [He smiles. Although most days, he's throwing himself into his work.] But I'd like that. I'd like to see how they rebuilt, for myself.

I think they did a marvelous job, personally, but I don't get to see much of the Muggle world. We're able to rebuild much quicker, I think.
