Jax has gone - which you probably already know about - and he wasn't my first inmate who disappeared either.
Back home at Hogwarts there's a cursed teacher's position where no one can fill the spot for more than a year. Usually something terrible happens to them.
Either way, I suppose if an inmate really, really wanted to go home, I could use my curse to help them out a little. Because I think my deal, being here, means that the person who doesn't want my deal to happen is using his own magic to stop it.
It's all pretty impressive, if you think about it.
