Hello, everyone.

I've never been on a ship like this before. Or any ship, really, so I can't say for certain whether the person in charge is always so elusive when it comes to answering questions. I suspect he thinks it's all in good fun, making you believe one thing but telling you another. I don't think I understand his humor, though.

I'm a little concerned about having made a deal with him - he could be one of the Rotfang conspirators in disguise and is set on prolonging this journey indefinitely until all our worlds are nothing but dust and spores.

Is that why all of you are having such strange dreams?

Either way, I hope there's pudding involved. It makes death seem just a little bit cheerier. I think that's why people eat so much at funerals.

Quite a lot of magic, actually. I've just completed my fifth year of schooling at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Do you know it? It's quite famous.

Exactly. And what's to say your idea of rehabilitation is the same as someone else's? It's all very messy, people's hearts.

There are a few around the world. I think Hogwarts is the best one, but that could just be personal bias.

With ghosts, mainly. Some are very talkative; others not so much. I suppose they're like people, in that way.

Oh, yes. And wizards, and everyone else, practically. They make themselves quite obvious.

Well, how about that. They don't make themselves all that known, where I come from. You got to have the right skills to converse with the dead.

But you can still speak with them.

All depends on their mood, really. Whatever fancy takes them at the time.

When we go out to visit other magical creatures, sometimes it helps to take a snack along in order to entice friendliness. Perhaps your friends would be in a better mood if you did that.

Well, they do like to have their offerings. Usually that's alcohol or bones, though.
