Hello, everyone.

I've never been on a ship like this before. Or any ship, really, so I can't say for certain whether the person in charge is always so elusive when it comes to answering questions. I suspect he thinks it's all in good fun, making you believe one thing but telling you another. I don't think I understand his humor, though.

I'm a little concerned about having made a deal with him - he could be one of the Rotfang conspirators in disguise and is set on prolonging this journey indefinitely until all our worlds are nothing but dust and spores.

Is that why all of you are having such strange dreams?

Either way, I hope there's pudding involved. It makes death seem just a little bit cheerier. I think that's why people eat so much at funerals.

Ghosts must get very jealous during mealtimes.

It's always open! We have a few days until the next crisis, at least, so there's plenty of time.

Oh, I like a library without restrictions. At Hogwarts we're not allowed in the library after hours.

We'll usually lock the doors at night so the staff can get some sleep, but if you're just in there to read it shouldn't be too much of a problem!

Are there spellbooks? I'd like to know what spells exist in other worlds. The ones with magic, of course.

Oh, yes! We have a whole section for them.

On many worlds, magical aptitude is learned rather than genetic. Every human has magical potential on Azeroth, for example, but not many have the dedication to study and become proficient.

If all humans can become witches or wizards in your world, then they must not be used to hiding.

Oh, not at all! Mages have their own universities and even cities! Dalaran is a neutral semi-independent state governed and run entirely by magic users.

Well, it's from my world! I wish I could take you to visit, it's a wonderful city.

An entire city of witches and wizards? Even London has to be shared with Muggles.

I'm sure not everyone is magically adept, but certainly most people are! It's a place of learning and experimentation. Even the streetlamps are magic!

Learning and experimentation are good for the soul. They make your brain expand and bits of it leak out your ears.
