[In her room, Luna has stacked up all her furniture in the middle of the room in order to reach the ceiling. She lies on her back on a desk that's tilted precariously on a chair, a globe, three books, and a coat rack. Somehow it all manages to stay upright.

Paint drips into her hair as she paints her ceiling. Faces of people on the Barge are recognizable - people she's met and interacted with, Iris, Bush, Steve, Facilier, MewTwo, and others.

She's not a bad artist, really. It's a lot more fun than the art room, where they expect you not to paint on the walls]

In lots of ways. By cutting them up, or arranging them, or folding the pages into shapes, or the illustrations inside. It's a canvas as much as any wall.

No. I am a god who knows the ways of magic.

It's a bit wizardly though - god-like powers. You still both use magic, except most wizards don't have legions of followers.

Some do. But not most.

Most of the gods in the realm of Asgard prefer weaponry over sorcery. They think me rather... strange to use it so often.

[They also think it's somehow lesser than simply smashing things with hammer or sword or it's most only something women did. Either way, he'd heard all the sly put-downs, quite often from his so-called friends. It didn't help lessen the bitterness against them.]

Magic-users are usually considered strange, through one reason or another. Even among their own kind.

My mother taught me. She was very gifted at it.

[His voice softens a little at that, but there's something else. Something sad in his tone.]

My mother died when I was nine. She taught me, too.

[There may be some sympathy in his face at that, even if the actual words of I'm sorry were difficult for him to say.]

I lost my mother fairly recently. Not long before I arrived here.
