IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: From the end of the sixth book
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Luna has waist-length, straggly blonde hair and wide blue eyes that give her a look of permanent surprise. She has a British accent, is wearing black wizard robes with a blue tie, and keeps a wand tucked behind her ear. She's usually looking pretty dreamy and spaced out.
•DEMEANOR: Oddly. She goes on tangents about conspiracies or mythical creatures no one's ever heard of, gets distracted or bored with some conversations, can't seem to fathom how much danger she might be in, and has a sing-song tone to her voice.
•ABILITIES: Luna is a witch in the Harry Potter universe: she has a wand and five years' worth of wizardly education under her belt. She's also a member of Dumbledore's Army, meaning that she's been trained in defensive magic against the dark arts. Luna can produce a Patronus charm in the shape of a hare. She's relatively good at dueling, charms, and caring for magical creatures and can produce a variety of spells.

Luna can see thestrals - winged horses - because when she was nine, she witnessed her mother's accidental death.

•CABIN INFORMATION: Luna's cabin looks much like her room in Ravenclaw tower, minus the four other beds. She has a large four-poster bed with curtains, a trunk, and a bright tall window. Much of the room is blank, but will be filled in with paintings as she picks up her brush and starts to paint the people of the Barge.
